We're going to start doing our challenges each week (instead of every other week) YIPPEE! but I know this one is a few days late!

Let's see your photos that are way close up! don't be afraid to get close or crop your pictures real tight. Sometimes the strongest messages are in the details. Go out and shoot a close up and share it with us telling us why you chose it or what you really like about it. Don't forget to include the camera details -- camera, shooting mode, aperture, ss, iso etc. if you don't know how don't worry, lol, we still want to see your pics!

I love birds but this one was behaving in much too familiar manner for my liking. It was only an inch or two away from me. So I enter him in the challenge, please, meet Mr.Bird.

I love flowers and getting a bee to hold still for a picture was a plus!

This is a pic I was over the moon about - a wedgetail eagle. He's in an enclosure, but was positioned so I could crop out any signs of that, so it looks like he's in the wild. I love these birds *sigh*

Heeee, once I started these, I couldn't stop! So sorry for clogging up the gallery, but I am determined to learn my new camera better and right now I am taking far more bad pics than good, I even included one in this collection so you can see just how bad they really are!

Sorry, another gallery hog. I promise not to do this too often.

I am new here and some weeks I do not have much time to get involved, other weeks I do. I love this weeks challenge. I LOVE taking close up photos and have a lot of them. I posted some of my favorites that I could get to easily.

My son is not letting me on the computer much today, took me hours to go back and forth and get these posted. I will try to comment later, but I LOVE ALL the photos that everyone has posted so far in this challenge!! Different subects, techniques, and all so beautiful!
