We all have pictures of our pets! But this challenge is for you to get some new photos of your cat, dog, horse, hamster, fish or whatever pet you have. But lets go for something different in this challenge ....

The goal is to capture an expression or something unique about your pet. Rather than the typical full body shot, get in close -- find something special about your pet that defines who she/he is. Show us what you get!

I know exactly what I'd like to photograph for this! my baby boy (my cat), has a permenet eye condition that causes puss in his eyes. We medicate him to essen the symptoms and his pain. Due to our guilt over shoving meds down his throught daily and his discomfort he gets extra "privledges" like being allowed in our bed and he almost never gets punished for his misbehavior. He's definately the most pampered of the 5.

the good news bad news is that his eye's looking good. good news for him, bad news for photo challenge.

well while the baby's sleeping, I'll have to track down the kitties and photograph them looking for inspiration.

I took these photos for this challenge - then i was inspired to use them for the speed scrap. so I'll have to take more for this. but still wanted to share here.

Leo - he's a "i'm beautiful" admire me cat. named leo for his mane like wide face.

Thumper - by angelic looking boy with the sick eye (looks good here) always bobbing his face and greating me when I want to photograph him

Jasmine - always trying to hid, even if it's just behind a paw

Without kids or grandkids close by, most of the pictures I take is of my pets so this was easy in some regards, however this is the first time I actually waited to catch them doing something that really describes them - they are both so alert when it comes to any movement outside, so I waited to catch them looking outside.
