Hi Shar,

that happened to me as well - the reason is that the files are too large. Keep them smaller than 125k and try it again.
Can't wait to see your pics.

I really like the look of panning. I've been trying to perfect it for the past 25 years and I still have to shoot lots to get good ones.

Your shots are great but bless you Ann for telling us that it can take years and many shots. It is sheer pigheadedness on my part that I am still trying!

I'd like to let you borrow two DDs of mine, last week they have been running around wild, I wonder if they found some coffee beans growing at the compost heap or what, but I hardly had time to do anything rather than clen up the mess they left behind them, and broken plates, spilled beads, etc. But God am I glad there is a new challenge, though I don't know how to PAN at all!!!!! Never heard of it. But you see I promised not to post anything into challenge gallery after 1 August, and it was hard to hold back, thanks God, I didn't have any time to break my promise with all that running my little ones did, bless'em. Yeah, and they just run for food, no need to bribe, baked beans or a sandwich will do. LOL! Very cheap, I am sure I could drive a car on their energy if I could bottle it.

I went back and counted and I took 78 panning photos of my senior to get the two that I liked.
I was told by a professional photographer friend that you need to take about 35 photos to get one good one - so shoot away and don't get discouraged if you take 34 and there isn't a "good" one - just keep taking MORE. Each one you take, you're a step closer to a fantastic one. LOL
