Canon lenses

Hi Betty Jo ... as far as I know, the Canon lenses for the SLR will work with a digital SLR, but to be on the safe side, ask where you buy the camera, or even take them in and make sure they fit on the digital camera. I have always used Canon cameras, and recommend them. At the moment we have one film Canon and three digital Canons in our house, lol! Hope this helps, Sharon.

Thanks again Sharon,

I buy all my camera equipment from B&H Photography in New York so I will either call or email them today. Hopefully I'll be placing my order within the next couple weeks. We are moving on the 9th so I must get that all squared away first as a new camera at this point would be way too distractive for me!!

My fav color

Here's my photo...glad you have the challenge..it gives me a chance to photograph something other than grandkids and the pets! I have a Olympus Camedia C8080 Widezoom. I love it, but haven't got the hang of taking it off of Auto yet. But I did have a chance to use the close ups settings for this pic. I can add lenses too. It is 8 megapixel...Love it. Here's the link. TFL

Here's mine. Still learning the camera, but I have to agree that I love the rebel.

Hi Everyone,
I have never done a challenge before, so I am not sure if I was supposed to RSVP, but I am hoping that it is ok that I posted a photo.
I have a Canon digital rebel - which I love now that I have an external flash.

My favorite color is red, which is fortunate as the most common roses are of course red.

Can anyone suggest how to get the clarity of the uploads that I have seen from other people. In the actual .jpg it was really clear, but it looks a little blurred in the file I uploaded.

I look forward to doing more photo challenges.
Sandra

Hi Sandra,
Try running just a dab of unsharp mask after resizing your file and see if that brings back some of the sharpness. That's a beautiful rose you posted in your gallery too!

This is fun - here is my entry for the favourite colour challenge - yellow. I have been doing a lot of experimenting with my camera lately, so this was a great challenge.
