Welcome.. BTW.. this is for the PRo2 version.. not sure if it matters for v10 or not.. Surprisingly, I found I really like the program - it has potential but is missing a few "pro" features like versioning and batch RAW editing.. otherwise, it aint bad!

When the time comes I'll be hitting up Shelleyrae for some advice, I'm sure. It's a great program. It's been really hard scrapping this weekend without it (and without all my goodies). Luckily, I've recently shopped and have a folder full of new stuff to play with.
I don't think you would have to Amy - I think if you name the new drive the same it should find it all if you just move the same folders over to the new drive as is... if you just have to rename the drive another letter; I know you can remap the drive in ACDSee.... but if you rename folder names, etc. I think you do have to retag... but not sure... anyone?

My old PC had my EHD as F drive. It was originally E drive but suddenly changed to F drive. I have no idea why. When I connected it to my new computer it was showing as E drive again. When I imported the saved database which was done as F drive, there was a section to change the drive name. I simply changed it to E and all of my data was restored without any problem.

Pesto's Tip of the Day:

Keep in mind that you can always force windows to name an external drive/device by using the Manage My Computer command...

Right Click on your My Computer icon and choose Manage
Click on Disk Management (a list of all your drives will appear including attached externals)
Choose a Drive and Right Click
Choose Change Drive Letter and Paths...

Just choose a letter that you want to use (one not in use already) and whenever you attach that drive to the computer, it will automatically register as that drive letter..

I use this for my USB card that I have setup with over 100 portable applications... that way, the software knows what drive letter to use them for when I plug it in....

Good Luck.
