Hi Connie, i'm going to check that out right now.... What I did before bed last night is delete the database and then started to reimport what I had there before; and then it created the same error message; this time on import. Thanks so much - I'd be thrilled to get it organized and scrappin again... I can't scrap without my ACCDSee software to preview everything I have.

I have tried this and crossing my fingers bc it's up to 28% now which is the furthest it's gotten in days..... will post back and let you know if it gets to 100%

ok - posting back - i'm in the middle of trying to determine the issue but I suspect it might have something to do with ACDSee and how it's looking "inside" a particular zip folder. I was able to determine which "import" of information folders it might involve; now unzipping files and seeing what it does.

what I need to find out now is for ACDSee NOT to try to read "into" or associate with the zip files. I have checked my settings and it says it's not associated with zip files; but it does.... i had a folder full of zip files (one of which was corrupt and I believe causing this problem); and it showed EVERY file that was in the zip file; I don't want previews of my zips in ACDSee as I'd rather not have stuff shown in my catalog if it hasn't been unzipped. Possible?
