Handwritten signature

Since my DH just bought me a Wacom tablet for our anniversary, I thought the least I could do was make him the signature he wants.
But I can't figure out how. He wants to have his name in his own handwriting that he can add to emails. So, it has to be a file that we can copy and he can put on his computer at work.
I wrote my name in a text box and made a jpg of it in DIP but Outlook Express doesn't like it and removes it from the email signatures in Options.
If anyone knows how to do this I would appreciate some help.
Below is what I have to work with.
Thanks! Diane

Wacom Graphire4 came with: Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 and
Corel Painter Essentials 2 and nik Color Efex Pro 2.0GE (I haven't a clue what that is)
Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10 (what I use most, I've never used Elements or Corel before.)
Outlook Express at home; Outlook at work

You should be able to add any file to the signature.. check this link out.
Just remember the file size must be small.. and also remember that not everyone can see a graphic signature correctly (not many use outlook).

Pesto,
I don't understand most of that, but thanks for your reply.
I've been working on it and have made a little progress.

Where are you getting tripped up? Did you follow the steps in outlook to find your GIF file with the signature? Let me know...

I'm not sure how to write that HTML image tag. My file name has to go in there some where, I guess. At the end? Anyway,
I made a gif file and emailed it to my husband at work. He's going to try it out tomorrow. I'll let you know what happens.
Thank you.
Diane

Diane, the way I do it is upload my image to photobucket. Then open note pad and add the html code from photobucket. The second line is the one you want that says HTML code. Save your note pad document at sig.html but be sure to save it to a place on your computer where it can stay. Like maybe your "My Documents". Once that is saved open outlook express and go to tools>options>signature then down to file and browse. Browse for your sig.html file. Once finished it should looks something like this.

Also make sure on this same page to check "Add signature to all outgoing mail".

Be sure to press "Apply" once your done.

Pesto,
It worked! My husband didn't have any trouble with Outlook this morning at work. Thanks so much for your help.

Now, I am going to see if I can get it to work for us at home in Outlook Express. First I'm going to register at Photobucket as Lori suggested. Hopefully the rest will become clearer as I go along.
Couldn't do this without help, thank you both,
Diane
