Right now, I have ACDSee installed in my laptop where I do most of my scrapping. But my kits & photos are in a EHD. Can I install it on the desktop too so I can scrap there too sometimes? If so, how do I do it? Do I just DL the trial version to my desktop and then use the same license code I got?

I have my kits and database on my ehd...
I use my laptop and my desktop...
so I have ACDSee on both...and save my database to my ehd.
Pick one your laptop or your desktop to always "organize and save" in...then you will restore the database into the other...
Now...lol...I havn't figured out how to put the license code into my trial version on my desktop yet...still hoping that will appear...but it is ok to put it on both...

The license is good for 3 computers. And yes - dl the trial & insert the license code.

My sister has instructions to work out these kinds of details of multiple computers & one EHD. The secret is to be consistent. This is her area & Heidi will help if you have questions.

In many programs there is a link under Help to buy/upgrade which will allow you to enter your code. I'm sorry I'm not at home to access my copy of ACDsee so am just having to take a guess here.

click on that and there is a button for the numbers...duh, now why didn't I see that earlier?
