ACDSee Question

Ok, so I have burned all of my stuff to cd's so that I could free up space on my hard drive. Do I need to laod it all back on my hard drive in order to catalog it in ACDSee?

And, as far as fonts go, if I have The Font Thing, does ACDSee now replace that?

I don't know the answer re the stuff in the CD. I have my kits in an EHD that plug in when I need to scrap. I didn't have to load it into my hard drive to tag them.
Re font thing, I keep it since ACDSee can see the fonts but cannot install them for you, unlike the font thing.
HTH, even a little bit.

Do you all break up your kits in terms of your different categories? Like, a kit that has a red paper and a blue paper would be categorized under paper, but in red and blue, right?

yes, but I didn't do every piece...because if you highlight all the pieces in the kit and then go under properties onthe right side and put in the name of the designer and the name of the kit...then you can go from that one piece of paper to the whole kit of you want to see what all is in it...this has been a greatthing for me...because I don't want 10 solid blue papers in my blue solid section...you know?

Trisha, it is my understanding the ACDsee can catalog your CDs just as they are. But why don't you check into the forums at www.digiscrapinfo.com and check it out? They can (and will) give you a fast answer there.
