scrapbooking DVD

Hi, I have had lots of company lately so have not been able to really get started here but thought I would pass on a really fun website I found that makes your scrapbooks into DVD’s to play on your TV. I was thinking what a great Mothers Day gift. It looks real easy and fun.

The site you provided does not state that the supplied graphics are 300 or even 200 ppi, which is pretty much needed when you are scrapbooking digitally. When you look in the gallery at SBB, we kind of scrapbook a bit differently too, so really not sure if you will gain much.

If you are trying to find a program to scrapbook with, it is best to find a graphics program that allows you to import supplies, work with layers and adjustments, etc. Many include the option to burn a DVD such as this one does. Once it gets reviewed by PC World, I may change my opinion. Keep doing some research on what is available online, and you may just find something else that is more up-to-date with digital scrapbooking.

I had a look at the site and it's not really meant for "normal" digital scrapping. It's really only for making a DVD so I would think the graphics supplied would be of low resolution. It would probably be okay for making DVD's but I don't think it does much more than Windows Movie Maker except that is has clipart included. With Movie Maker you can just add your completed layouts, add music if required and then burn to DVD. For those who like that clipart type of stuff I guess it would be okay but it's not meant for creating layouts to print out. It does allow you to make up a label and DVD case cover but that can be done in various other programs too.

I don't know if I can put is here so just let me know if not. Roxio Easy Media Center 7 lets you create a dvd using the pages you have already created and put music to it. I made a dvd video for my MIL funeral with pages I had created and also did one for my niece for her 15th birthday of pages I did for a book for her. I plan to put the ones I did for my mom and dad's 50 anniversary on one too to give to everyone else in the family. It is not very hard to use just takes a little time.
