Pesto, I looked for the two programs you mentioned and could only find the idimager to read about. It cost $59.00 with a 21 day trial period. I already have programs that do everything that one does. And I paid a lot less for them. Even Picasa2.0 has more options then DSR does, crop, rotate, colors ect.... but it can't view .psp files big downer for me and a lot of the .png files do NOT show correctly!!

I think the best thing about DSR is the extremely easy to use, no frills that I don't want. Just a very clean fast running cataloging program for my digital scrapbooking items. The thing I like the most is how it saves a file that you can print out, copy/paste of the items you used while creating a LO while using DSR.
As the name implies, it is for scrapbooker, it is not geared to the photographers or whoever else needs a complete fixing, organizing, batch naming program, we don't need to worry about cropping, EXIF info, lightening or darkening our papers and elements.
I personally didn't choose to import any of my digital photo's into DSR, I don't have to view those images or their info in any program. I have them all organized in a folder structure that works well for me. And I have a script in PSP that will place all the EXIF info right onto the image if I needed it. I also do all my photo image correction's in PSP, a program that is more tailored to that ability then say Picasa is...

We just needed something that was fast, easy and DigitalScraproom is it!
