hello there everyone - I am not an expert at this at all, but I wondered if there is anyone out there usin linux instead of windows, and if they are what software are you using to do your digital scrapbooking?

So far I use Gimp and also Scribus was suggested (it is a desktop publishing app) but it is not really what I want, Gimp is pretty comprehensive though, but does anyone know of an all-in-one digital scrapbook software for linux? (like scrapbook max or similar)

Here is an example of what I made with Gimp, it is a desktop wallpaper of my sister-in-laws wedding - all the elements are either freebies or designed at home

I'm guessing you'll probably need to stick with Gimp - it should do the job quite nicely for you.

Hi there! I use Gimp2 for all of my pages. You can check out my gallery link in my siggie line. I'd say stick with Gimp, it is probably the most comprehensive program out there for linux and the most equivalent the the powerful stuff like Photoshop and Illustrator. I think what you've done so far looks great!
