ACK! They keep flashing on the TV that it is going to be -44 (YES -44 that is not a typo!!) with the windchill here tomorrow, with snow and blowing snow. Yikes...I sure hope I dont have to go out in that!! And please let the car start in the morning!!!

Brrrr! All this talk of snowy cold weather is making me colder than I already was! We've had snow on the ground since October and it won't be leaving till March or April up here in Northern BC. Today it warmed up to a balmy -10C, but it's supposed to get colder again. Not as cold as the prairies, thankfully It's interesting to see the different (or should I say "similar"?) weather everyone's having at this time of year! The one nice thing around here is that when it's really cold out, the sky's clear and the sun's shining brightly. Seems like the colder it is, the sunnier it is!

I live in Iowa. Right in the middle of the US and last week we had 10 inches of snow with temps in the 20s then today we had rain with temps bordering on freezing and tomorrow it is suppose to be below zero. We have a saying here. "If you don't like the weather wait 10 minutes"

Thanks for all the updates! Well, we were to get up to 3 inches here near Seattle, and instead it warmed up and melted what we already had...

I don't have snow right now, I just was caught by the snow thing and wanted to talk about our random snow storm in November............that's the first time I have seen snow here and the owner of a thrift store here in town said it's the first time he's seen more than a swift coating that lasted longer than 10 minutes in 65 years!!!
