well.... as my friends from the morning show know by now... I was on bedrest with my little Billy Bob, due feb 7... I just wanted to let everyone know that at my routine appt last Wed (dec 1) it was discovered my cervix was changing. I became the lucky winner of a night of magnesium, and a 3 day hospital stay. Good news, there has been no change since the mag. bad news, I'm now 2cm dialated at 30+ weeks. I've been allowed to go home, for now... but I've been placed on strict bedrest. My kids are living with their grandparents until the baby comes or the restrictions are lifted which ever comes first. I will miss my son's 4th birthday party this weekend, but as my very wise mother once told me, "sometimes, you gotta pick the one the needs you over the one that wants you."

So I'm home for now, and geeking and scrapping away.... need to do something to pass the time without the kids. *S* I'd just like to thank all my morning show buddies and anyone else out there, who are praying for me and and my unborn baby boy.... BTW.. his name will be William Robert, and yes, he's already been nicknamed billy bob! *S*

here's a 3-d ultrasound photo of him... I keep looking at this, and the photos of his older sister's days in the NICU to remember why I need to stay in bed....

So glad you are home! Make sure you follow all the doctor's orders so little Billy Bob(I love that nickname) is born healthy. I am sorry you have to miss the birthday party. That is really hard on a mom but remember why and I think it will help you get though the day. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please keep us posted. I can't wait to see photos of this little guy when he is born healthy.

Thanks Vivian... having my internet access back is sure helping to pass the time... and I call my folks anytime to see how the kids are doing.... my dh is going to our son's party, so he can video and take pictures for me.... and I'll call up and sing happy birthday with me...

the photos of my daughter in the nicu are a good reminder why I need to stay down ..

I can't wait till I'm posting pics of this little guy myself!

Thanks to you and everyone out who's praying for us.... I really appreciate it all... the prayers, the thoughts, everything....

Just wanted to say I hope everything goes well for you. It must be so hard not being able to see your other kids but it will all be worth it when little Billy Bob is born safe and sound. Just make sure you take care of yourself and do what the doctors say.

Thank you to everyone who is praying for me and thinking of me and little Billy... so far, we're doing good.... I'm a little lonely since dh is currently at my son's bday party.... but I just keep looking at my pictures and remembering why I'm here right now....

I've got pages to finish, and projects I can do on the computer, like the family newsletter and recording some of our christmas tapes to cd.... So between all that and naps.... I'm managing to pass the time.....

I really just wanted to say this site is great, the people I've met here are great.... and I really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers!
