dsl vs. high speed internet

Hi Ladies,

I'm a little confused I am tying to determine if I should get high speed internet or DSL, what is better? wahat are the pro's and con's of each? From what I can se is DSL is cheaper by about $240.00 per year. Does anyone have any recommendations?
