In Washington it is illegal for a man to have sex with a virgin (how does that work on the wedding night???)
In New York it is illegal to jump off of the Empire State Building - punishment... Death
In Louisiana it is illegal to tie a crocodile to a fire hydrant
In New York it is illegal to put a giraffe on an elevator

Wouldn't you love to know how some of these laws came about? Cause obviously someone tied a croc to a fire hydrant at some point to need to make that law... amazing!

LOL Raechel! That is so funny to think about. Yep,. I'm wondering how these next laws first came about too.

In the state of Washington it's illegal to catch a fish by throwing a rock at it.

In Seattle, Washington, it is illegal to carry a concealed weapon that is over six feet in length.

In Spokane, Wash., it used to be illegal to interrupt a religious meeting by having a horse race.

In Washington state it's illegal to sleep in an outhouse without the owner's permission.

Seattle: Women who sit on men's laps on buses or trains without placing a pillow between them face an automatic six-month jail term. No one may set fire to another person's property without prior permission. It is illegal to carry a fishbowl or aquarium onto a bus because the sound of the water sloshing may disturb other passengers.

The state of Washington doesn't allow marathon dancing--or marathon skipping, sliding, gliding, rolling or crawling.

I didn't know this about New Jersey...

• It is illegal to slurp soup.
• Pinball machines are not to be played on Sunday.

But this has to be one of my faves! Makes me miss my state when I'm driving through others LOL!
You cannot pump your own gas. All gas stations are full service and full service only.

Utah :

Birds have the right of way on all highways.

It is illegal not to drink milk. ( I am soooooooooo breaking the law)

No one may have sex in the back of an ambulance if it is responding to an emergency call.

Salt Lake City: No one may walk down the street carrying a paper bag containing a violin.

Trout Creek: Pharmacists may not sell gunpowder to cure headaches.

This one is not on the list but I know there is a law about waring hight heals on main street. Because they get caught in the grates.
