Oh, Sarah! How scary! We've had a lot of little ones around here, and a few years ago when I was doing daycare (my daughter and a friend were standing out at the bus stop outside when it happened) we had a pretty good one. I remember feeling a little queasy, and like the ground was moving back and forth. I looked up and saw the light fixtures swaying. I was so in shock I didn't even do what you are suppose to do (grab the kids and hide under a table). It was something I'll never forget! I guess our area is way over due for a great big one. We live along the Juan de Fuca fault line.
