What does the mouse do while the cat's away?

DH is on a business trip for two weeks so I've been trying to do all the things I just can't seem to do while he's home. I'm definitely going to scrap this list and probably take some pics of my adventures but I wanted to see what you do (or would do) - hmmmm? Inquiring minds want to know.

So far I've been able to:
scrap for hours at a time without interruption
sit in the recliner and read a book without interruption
listen to music instead of always having the tv on
watched a chick flick, a musical, and a foreign film
eat cereal for dinner

I still plan to:
Do some major spring cleaning
go to the movies with my girlfriends
have the girls over to the house

LOL Isn't it funny how such little things can mean so much and be so simple! I love the cereal for supper!

oohh we were suppose to add to this list!

Well I basically live alone with the kids anyhow, but I know I LOVE just having my own schedule about everything in life.

If my clothes are dirty, there is no one waiting for me to do his socks and pants.

All the towels in my bathroom are for me.

I can stay up late, make noise, watch TV when I go to bed at 2 am and sleep in until I want to get up. (Unless the kids need me)

Oh yes and shaving, I didn't all winter it was great and saved me so much time not doing it! I found out that my (legs) skin didn't get near as dry this winter either...hhmmm see it was a win, win situation all the way around!

My fav part when the kids and DH are away is walking in the house after work and thinking 'hmm, I don't feel like dinner - I'm not going to cook!!'

I never cook when DH is out of town (unless it is for more than a day or two). It's a great excuse to go out! Also, I usually let one or both kids watch a movie with me (in my bed) and fall asleep there, which is kinda special cuddle time that doesn't happen much anymore now that they are getting older.
