LOL you all are so much help! Why not just come here and help me shove this stuff out of my driveway!
My parents came home from TX to early...haha on them! I feel for you Silly having your hometown overrun with tourist and the northern winter travelers!
LaWanda, I'm coming for a visit! LOL I would rather have rain then this.
Colleen, Yeah that last 2 feet was really wet and heavy, warmer weather is SUPPOSED to be here by the middle of next week. Hoping against all odds that it is true!
Last weekend when we had all the snow, my girlfriends oldest dd (24) called me. Her and her younger sister (22) were traveling back home from the Twin Cites when they got mixed up in the blizzard mess. The state dept hadn't plowed any of the roads for over 12 hours. When they left 4 days earlier it was sunny and 50 degrees with spring well in site. They wore flipper sandels and no jackets or tennis shoes with them. When they called they had almost been hit by a car out of control, got stuck IN THE ROAD and it took them 2 hours to travel 60 miles! I would have yelled at them for their lack of decent clothing in the car but then realized I would have packed the same way if I was going out of town for the weekend (except for the fact I never travel without tennis shoes).
We got their cars turned around in my driveway facing out so they could get a run at it the next morning as the oldest dd is going to Medical School in Grand Fork ND and couldn't miss her one class the next morning so she was planning on getting up and leaving at 5 am.
She tried but didn't make it out the driveway or even close to the 4 foot high brim of snow the plow so nicely placed in the end of my driveway. So here we are at 5:30 am, shovels in hand, they are wearing my shoes and boots which are 2-3 sizes too small for them!

Shoveling out her brand new little car, we did get it and you can't beat homegrown country girls at times like this! hehehehe
Oh yeah and it was really handy to finally get that 30lbs of bagged gravel that I got as my white elephant xmas gift, out of my car trunk! That'll teach me not to take the heaviest present again! LOL
