Talking about the weather...

WOW we had -90 wind chill here last night! Actual temp was and is right now -28 F!!! I have to say this is about the coldest I can ever remember in my life!!

It was very windy and I could hear my oak tree branches snapping and cracking due to being frozen ice icles handing out in mid-air!
I can't believe that I don't have any of the bigger branches on the ground. I bet that will start to happen this summer as it has weakened their internal structure!

Hopefully I can manage to stay home all day!

Brrrrr Tracy, I think I would not only try to stay home, I'd be finding a way to snuggle in bed all day. Keep your thoughts on Spring, it's just around the corner now.

Oh girl... I can feel your pain. We were to go down to -65F with the wind last night as well, and were concerned that it would be a rough first night with the puppy and her house training. Thankfully the new puppy only takes 45 seconds to go out the door, run around the house to do her "business" in the right part of the yard and drag us back inside and sit patiently to have the leash removed. (maybe we should call her Speedy???). We were seriously amazed at how quick these trips were, so I actually timed her last night.

It feels like -52F with the wind right now, but it is to be about 32F next Saturday. Spring is just around the corner (hopefully).

LOL Colleen, you know that everyone in the northern climates move A LOT faster then those in the southern climates!!

I can't image that your pup thinks or feels any differently! OMG can you image just going outside to "HAVE" to do anything?

I know...thinking....SPRING SPRING SPRING!! Sooner or later it is going to come and with it my heating bills will cease and desist!!
Then watch we will have 90+ and the AC will be turned on!

OMG that will be 180 degree different in just months! LOL

We thought that the timing was perfect for getting a puppy as we had that bitter cold snap a couple of weeks ago (doesn't that mean nicer weather after that cold stuff?). We are so very lucky that her foster owner for the past two months was the Vet, and she took the time to train her so well.

My outdoor thermometer reads -25C this morning but the wind is HOWLING! and I have no idea how cold it is! Yikes...I will stay in all day and get my snooze before I venture to work at 10:30pm tonight. Luckily I have an in-car heater so it is toasty warm when I get inside the car! Good thing I don't have to go far...my little Neon doesn't warm up much in weather this cold. BTW, I have my long-johns on too!!(in the house) LOL So much for hot flashes....

oooh!! Stay safe and warm. I can't imagine being that cold. I'm cold and we are nowhere near that.

Weather like this is why we have a remote starter for the van!
Too bad there wasn't something that also cleared the vehicles of snow too - LOL
Then I wouldn't mind the cold winters so bad
