After we were told that neither of our daughters will be having surgery, it left the door open for us to enlarge our family by one more. We had been wanting to do this for a while now, but the timing was never right.
So here she is...
She is a 4 month old Terrier cross puppy which we adopted from the local Humane Society through one of the Vet Clinics. This sweet little soul had been left at the side of the road before being rescued, and was being cared for by the Vet herself since that time. For those of you who don't know where I live, our winters are bitterly cold, and we are extremely thankful that somebody was able to rescue her. We went to pick her up from the Vet this morning, and the temperature was -44C/-47F with the wind.
This sweet little puppy was a birthday gift for my youngest daughter who is turning nine tomorrow. I'll post pictures of their first meeting later as we managed to keep it a complete surprise even after the receptionist said "oh, you are here to pick up the puppy".
If anybody has any name ideas, Siobhan would love to hear them.
We have a few we are considering, but would love to hear more.
