Some good news for once - Puppy Breath!

DH and I adopted a Bernese Mountain Dog mix puppy last night. He's about 7 or 8 weeks old, only 6 pounds, and just the cutest thing. He's also quite loud and doesn't like his crate.

We haven't decided on a name yet, but I'm leaning toward Wolfgang, Wolfy for short.

LOL Lisa, you are right. He's 6 pounds right now, but a purebred BMD male is usually 85-100 pounds. We think he may be a mix, so he could be smaller, but I imagine he'll top 75 easy. Our German Shepard mix is around 70 pounds. We like big dogs.

me too.. our current dog Buster (Sheltie) is "little" (30 pounds) compared to our Samoyed Windy (RIP) (who was around 65-70 pounds)! I just love the greeting I get when I come home from work! Someone who is just glad to see ME!! and doesn't need help with his homework, something to eat right now cuz he's starving, fighting over who gets to watch what channel! Pure exciement because I walked in the door

LOL Lisa! I walked in my door on my lunch break here today and my puppy 1) was excited to see me and 2) tore my sons nerf football to shreds within a couple minutes of being outside on a potty break! Oh the joys!

Enjoy the new baby! He is a doll, and I think Wolfie is very suiting!
