A new year, a new beginning - SBB Digital Scrapbooking Forums | Scrapbook-Bytes

For us, the new year brings great changes in our lives. I have mentioned before that dh was interviewing in Yuma, AZ. He did not take the job because he just didn't feel it was a good fit. A couple of weeks later, on our youngest son's birthday (December 10th), he was offered a job in Rochester, NY. This job was everything we wanted and MORE! He started there on Wednesday and the boys and I have been back here in Erie packing our little hearts out. He's in a hotle for 2 weeks, and we just signed a lease for a place today, so our wheels have been set into motion. We are moving next weekend (Jan 12) and the twins will be starting back to school on the 14th!

We found a townhome to rent in the school district that we wanted, which was number 1 on my list of important things when it came to finding a place to live. They only have 4 school, but 2 of them are ranked in the top 25 in the nation!!!!

So, while I haven't been on SBB hardly at all, you all know why...I'm busy preparing for our move! We are so very excited about the new job. It's a bigger market, better position, more money, better co-workers.

If y'all could keep us in your thoughts as we make the move and transition to our new home and our new begging in Rochester. It's really like starting over because schedules have to change, etc., but it's a new beginning that we are looking so forward to.

That's fantastic! no offense to those who live in Yuma, but I'm not a huge fan of that city, so I'd pick Rochester too just on that basis. Congratulations on having everything work out so well and good luck with the move!
