So today as I am bringing my 13 yr old ds to his fathers house and he says I should have asked "Alex" if he wanted to go to the reunion, cuz his last name is larson also!!!
I said...yeah but he is not related to you!
My DS says....You mean all those people at the reunion are my relatives!!?
At this point I am laughing so hard (thinking about a few of the family members I know he is thinking of!) and say yes honey all those people are related to you one way or another!

He said...Wow I didn't know that and I thought it was just everyone with the last name Larson could come there!!!

So funny and out of the mouth of children!

LOL I've got a few of those relatives I wouldn't want to admit I was related to. Thank goodness those ones have a different name to me! I can always pretend I'm not related. LOL

Yep. Kids say so much more than they think! There are certain people I'm related to who make me cringe! I guess it's true you can pick your friends but not your family!
