Hi everyone,

My little bundle arrived on Monday 8/14 at 8:24am. Her name is Molly and she is a tiny little sweetie. She weighed 5lbs 6oz at birth and is down to 5lbs, but she is healthy and doing well. We just make small babies

I had my c-section and the surgery went well. Recovery is going a lot better now that my staples are out. We afre settling in and trying to encourage Molly to nurse. She is having trouble because of her size. Our pediatrician says she is so small that it takes too much energy to nurse, so she falls asleep each time. I am expressing to make sure she gets fed, but I can't wait until she has the strength to nurse well.

OMGoodness Dena! She is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Congratulations!!!! My laire was the same weight and had a similar problem with nursing. If you would like to know how we eventually solved it (if you don't already have enough folks giving you advice!), shoot me a pm or email! But my goodness, she sure is a purrrrty lil thing!
