well that was in february! yeah, i know it's october now! but dh wouldn't hear of paying to take the boxes upon boxes to the dump since we'd have to pay since we're already paying for trash collection here at the house. and they only take a few large items here. so we (well i, that was my job as he had plenty of others around here) got to repack all the 100 year old pieces of crumbling plaster into smaller, managable boxes and stack into the garage to take out a few each week! and today, we are box free!!!!! we could even park a car in the garage now! very exciting to me, probably not so much for you, but thanks for playing along anyway!!!

Hmm!!

Wish I could park my car in the garage, it is full of junk that we never get around to sorting out.!!

My solution is to build another one!!

Talking oh girl....

I feel for you. Congrats on getting the last box(es) out.

We had a leak one time in a house we had. We were just sitting in the living room, and we kept hearing something; well, we look up and there is waterfall over our sink in the kitchen (kitchen and living area right next to each other).

It took us forever to figure out where the leak came from, cause we didn't want to pay anyone to investigate. We though it was pipes, come to find out it was one of the sewage vents that goes thru the roof (the flashing had come loose). The water had traveled from the roof, down the outside wall, to the first floor ceiling....go figure. And then it took him months to fix the dry wall on the ceiling.

Hubby is a major procrastinator! So I definitely understand about 'that' kind of mess.
