So what are your kids going to be for Halloween?

Hi Ladies,
I thought it would be fun and cute to see what everyone's kids would be for Halloween, did you buy or make the costumes?

My oldest son Bryce is going to be a pirate (store bought) and my 1 yo, Ethan is going to be Crankenstien (Frankenstien :O)), I also bought his costume.

I can't wait to see all of the fun layouts.

My son is going to be Jango Fett from Star Wars (again). And probably for the next 3 years also. I bought the costume for Halloween last year, cost more than what I wanted to spend. So this is my justification. With a little direction, this is what he wants to be this year also.
"Mommy, can I be SpiderMan?"
"Erik, didn't you want to be Jango Fett"
"Oh, yeah, can I be Jango Fett?"

well *he* wants to be kim possible or a powerpuff girl but daddy prefers something else. we have a robot costume already and might go with that, but he also has a toolbelt and every power tool known to bob, so who knows?? he's like kari's and pretty easily persuaded still, so i'm not sure who we'll end up with! normally

I make the kids costumes, and the love them. But this year, for some reason, they want store bought ones.

My 9yr old Chelsea always seems to want to be the same thing; a ninja. My 7 year old is always something girly, normally a 'pretty' Witch, but this year she wants to be a princess, real surprise there, since she thinks she is one....lol.

And my 4yr old Ian, don't know, but normally something to do with cartoons. Ie: dragonballz, power rangers, etc.

Chelsea informed me she didn't want me working so hard on there costumes this year; she wants me to rest. Oh my, I laughed.

We had a blast this year picking out costumes. My oldest is going to be Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty (he can't wait until he grows up so that he can slay real dragons) and my youngest (2) is going to be an airplane pilot. I found him a fat little airplane that he wears around him (looks very Jay-Jay-ish) and it came with a helmet. He looks incredibly nerdy, but very cute! Both were store bought. I don't sew on anything except scrapbook pages.

A few years ago my mom bought a ladybug costume at Old Navy AFTER halloween just in case she ever got a grandaughter! So...carly will be a ladybug.

Sam's Club had some great costumes for really cheap this year and my mom bought Taylor an alligator costume (but he thinks its a dinosaur)

Both are going to be sooooooooooo hot for Texas though! My mom is used to cold Utah Halloween's!
