What other interests or hobbies do you have besides scrapping?
Just curious, what other interests and/or hobbies does everyone have?
I used to sew clothing, crafts and for the home. Also cross stitched, crocheted and piddled with silk ribbon embroidery. I used to be a veracious reader. Rubber stamping and paper scrapping where my latest hobbies up until a little over a year ago when I started my PSP lifestyle/adventure and switched to cg scrapping.
My most recent (very, very recent) interest is collecting and trading Old Time Radio shows. I'm looking for the old scary ones that aired for Halloween every year at the moment. I have Orson Welles' War of the Worlds which originally air on October 30, 1938. I'm planning a special halloween get together for family and will play it. I think it will be an entertaining evening.

oh, you mean there's something else?? let's see. besides cging. um i write about cging and read about cging. does that count?? actually i play softball and love to watch baseball and football. go bucks! we have a goal to see baseball games at all 30 stadiums in the us and canada and only have 7 left to see in the west! i was active in some adoption groups, but not much time recently with, well cging!! Ü
i do read all the harry potter books of course! and the left behind series. so i'd say i was a reader, but actaully they come out, i read them in a day or three, then i wait for a year, so it's not much of a hobby.
and btw i LOVE your siggy!!! too funny and too true! Ü

oh my...
Well, I USE to have a life, until I found scrapbooking the ole computer way.
I tried paper scrapping, but too many supplies, not enough room, or money to keep up with it.
I do like to different kinds of needlepoint, but haven't done much lately. I also like to sew, normally halloween costumes, and stuff for friends.
I love to read, when I am doing all the wifey, motherly, cg things. I am not sure it even leaves room for reading anymore, but I still love it. I am a big psycho-thriller person. Anything with death, destruction, action, sex, and .....oops, now you know how I sick I really am..hehe. Na, I have read just about every single Patricia Cornwell book if that gives you any idea?
So, I guess my plate is pretty full. Do you think I could fit something else in there. Oh, I should excercise, but who has the time....LOL.

Well, pre-kids I used to do counted cross-stitch. I still have several completed projects that I never got around to framing and two or three unfinished ones that I abandoned, plus a lot of patterns that I never got around to making.
I also collect angels and fairies. Although, between being short on funds and being more selective, I haven't added many pieces in the last couple of years.
I absolutely loved to read from the time I learned how up through college, but really haven't read much other than magazines and the very rare novel since then. There are just too many other things I want (or need) to do these days, and not nearly enough (kid-free) hours in the day.

I love to attend church/go to Bible study, read (currently am reading through Sol Stein's 'Stein on Writing' advice book, Tolkien's epic 'The Silmarillion,' and Lori Wick's first two romances in her Kensington Chronicles series 'The Hawk and the Jewel' and 'Wings of the Morning'), write (currently outlining my book for the NaNoWriMo competition), cook, interior decorate, research topics of personal interest on the Internet (yes, I'm a geek!), shop, dream abt owning my own Harley motorcycle, and obsess over 'Saved By the Bell' and 'Lord of The Rings.'
Boy, am I a piece of work!

To balance out my time sitting at the computer I like to do active things such as skiing, boating, traveling, exercising, weight lifting, etc. Luckily most of those hobbies make for great photo ops and things to scrapbook!

other than CG scrappin? gotta get off my butt sometimes!!!
I play tennis, I am on two teams this season - one playing singles and one playing doubles. I also play in a league for fun. I run...getting ready to do a 5K this weekend for the leukemia society... not a time placer... I just like to complete it without stopping to walk... that a good enough goal for me. I'm active with my military spouses groups, church stuff, love to cook and host scrapping days as my house for friends who paperscrap still (I'm gradually converting more and more) when my ds is at preschool. Oh, yeah, and ds... 4 years old keeps you pretty busy tooo!!!! So how DO we find to scrap ourselves?
