And I haven't even gotten it yet!

Well, I guess that's part of the problem, LOL! Why did I pay $5.99 and $4 shipping to pre-order it, when I could get it at Barnes and Nobles today for $5.99??? I mean, preordering it should give me *some* sort of advantage, not put me at a disadvantage, right? I thought it would be a $14.95 book like the HOF book, or something. So, now I am out 4 extra bucks and getting it later than if I hadn't pre-ordered. I'm pretty bummed about that.

And I know that so many great people are in it, and I just can't wait to see all your layouts, but man, I have a bad taste in my mouth about SS now!

oh, there are *many* people with a bad taste for ss right now!! it was so not fun dealing with this issue! i'm trying so hard to just appreciate that they *did* devote an entire issue to cging. but it's not been an easy road. and there will be more issues now with lack of credit given apparently, so the saga will continue i'm afraid. i really hope it was just the first time anyone's done such a thing so it was difficult but the next ones will be better. let's home mm and pk's issues will do better! but i do feel for everyone who did preorder! craziness. sorry! Ü

Still don't have the issue yet, but I don't think mail has been delivered yet today.

But, SS did refund my $4 shipping charge, which makes me happier - got an email this morning. I mean, they can't *make* it come faster, or turn back time, but at least they are trying to make up for it.

Sounds like their customer service is at least working with you. That is more important.

I hate when you have problems with a company/service, and they treat you like, well, "its your problem".

I got it yesterday, but I have to say...I am disappointed. The LOs are great and it's awesome, that so many of this group are featured...but I expected more INFO! How to do what. I think the E-zine of scrapbook-bytes is waaaayyy more informative.
Just my humble opinion. What do you think??

you guys are killing me!! i wanna see it!! we just gotta remember it's a magazine for paper scrappers!! the ezine is for compuscrappers so it'll be more helpful. the ss issue is really a pioneer effort introducing this "new" thing to the world! baby steps!! Ü
