I am so sick and tired of...

This infernal cold wet weather!! It has rained almost 14 days straight and on the days it is not raining it is cold and blowing. Yesterday at work I had on 3 layers of clothes, a jacket and gloves!! My grass is green, green my trees are budding with flowers and my flowers are up out of the ground!! SUMMER SHOULD BE HERE!!!
A person should not have to come through 6-7 months of cold dreary days with little sun light, have about 2 weeks the beginning of April with glorious sun and warmth, almost hot weather and then have it turn crappy again for weeks in May!!
I seriously am having depression setting in on me and it is driving me crazy!! So today I am going to wash laundry, check on SBB, do some shopping, check in on SBB, make potato salad and grill pork chops on the grill tonight. If the weather can't be nice at least I can eat summer foods!!
What do you all do when the weather is just more then you can bear???

Tracey - I'm so sorry. I'd happily trade you!!! We're in full swing summer here and I'm already hating it!! It was 90 yesterday and I had the air on all day long. Ugh!!! I honestly don't know which is worse. Feel free to head out this way to get a good dose of sunshine. I have a super comfy guest bed.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. I know exactly how you feel about the weather. When I lived in Germany, it was gray and rainy for weeks at the time and I was really sick of it, too. I feel so lucky to now live in Southern Alabama where we only have about two weeks of "cold" every year.
Have you tried light therapy to get over your winter depression? We've had friends that lived in Alaska for a while and this helped them over the winter. Trust me, if I could I would send you some sunshine.

I know how you feel. My moods are affected by the weather. I put my computer desk in front of a big window so that I can look outside while I am scrapping. Has been the best thing for me. If the sun is out, then I get to see it. If the weather is bad, then at least I can scrap! I hope the sun comes out for you real soon. Until then I'm sending you a big hug. Write again if you need another one!

I totally agree we put our boat in the water the frist week of April by easter I had 2 sunburns already (I know its not good!!) now I'm in a sweatshirt every day and somedays a jacket. My boyfriend is a Independent Cement Contractor so with all this crappy rainy weather he isn't working and the money is still being spent. Not only do we dislike the rain, we need it to stop for finacial reasons!! Plus all the money we have to pay to dock the boat for the season it would be nice to use it. However we are saving money on gas lol!
