Have any of you taken your laptop to a LSS Crop Night? I've thought about it, just to get out - be around inspiration, other scrappers, even if I'm not doing it their way!

Would love to hear experiences of anyone who has done this!

i have! but i took my whole setup, tower and monitor! course it was a 24 hour crop, so it was worth the trouble. and i set it up faster than most of the paper scrappers anyway. um, i got a lot done, but i spent more time than i would have liked explaining what i was doing. people kept asking questions, looking, watching, etc. all good stuff, but kinda distracting. i think if i did it again, it would be better. maybe just the first time it was too new and different for them. maybe once it was old hat, i'd just be another scrapper, no big deal. i did love being there with other scrappers AND in my comfort zone. i'm not much of a paper scrapper, so without my computer i feel helpless there! though i do like to use up those supplies. anyway, i'd suggest trying it, but if you are "bothered" too much, give it another time or two. i mean bothered in a good way too. i'm just one who wants to get a lot accomplished at crops. if you're more of a socializer, it would be great! hth. oh, i did find i spent less time on that one thing, you know how it is. that one font, or getting that metal tag just so. when it probably doesn't really matter! so i worked faster than normal too. Ü
