has a 2 year old? since we just moved here I don't really know anyone anymore but my husbands family and don't have any friends to discuss stages and stuff with. So does anybody have a 2yo? or live near San Diego? Here's my ad: bored mom needs adult conversation...LOL.

oh, i have a two year old!! i'm also a sahm (have a 7 year old too)!! i know EXACTLY what you mean. i'm always telling my husband that sometimes i just need some adult conversation!!
check out my layout here. it's one that i did about my dd called the "the trouble with two", i did another one called "the joys with two" because even though they can be insane at times, there are def. some (a few, okay maybe one or two ) joys that come along with this age.
hey, and my dd turns 3 at the end of oct. so i wonder what will be in store for us then?

I have a 2 year-old, as of the end of July. I'm on the other side of the U.S., though (NH). But I'm here if you ever want to chat.

The interesting thing about 2 years olds is you never seem to forget them! My dd is 4 and 2 seems like yesterday. And my ds is 9 and he seems to be going through another terribe twos!


Where did you guys move from?

April: Well my husband lived here until 4 years ago when he joined the Marine Corp and I met him via the 'net in May 2001. I lived in NC close to where he was stationed(my family has lived there all my life and my roots go back there until the early 1700s). He just got out of the military in June and we decided it was the best for both of our careers(I'm a photographer but currently SAHM/freelance while he is in school at night and he's in computer networking) to be here in CA + we love the weather and there is SO much more to do vs. NC.

ALL: I am having a great time "meeting" so many new people.

A girl. And yes, the "terrible two's" are running rampant here, too.

I have a 2 year old daughter..her nickname is Messy Dessee..she is one big mess..lol..she has learned the NO..word well and uses it often..and the other day i asked to do do something and she said NO..i bizzy...she is such a hoot!!..

Paticia..I know how you feel..I have very few friends out here in the real world..I tell my dh..all my friends live online..every want to chat just email me..

as most of the DTM's know I am always up for chat..as long as it does not have to do with the wiggles or Pooh bear..lol..
