I don't know if you all have heard or read about base closures. Well My husband work at one of the Forts that is on the list to be closed
 . It will take about 3 years to close so that at least gives us a little time to prepare. We are not military or government workers, so we won't be part of the workers that will be offered to relocate.

Sorry to hear about this. I know what it's like. My husband and I worked at the same place (me for almost 16 years, him for 6), and we were both laid off in December. Neither of us have found a job yet either.
 Keep your fingers crossed though, he has an interview Tuesday.
