Yep - SHE was actually a HE!!
I am one of those people who saw one thing on an u/s and then saw another thing in real life! Needless to say, my son will be wearing a lot of pink.
 Evan was born at 7:24pm Vancouver time, on the 10th of August. He was 9lb 10 oz and 10 days overdue. I was in labour for about 30 hours before the doctor suggested a c-section was going to be the best way to end up with a healthy mum and baby. At least the surprise of the c-section was eclipsed upon my husband exclaiming "it's a BOY!"  Now, once I get into the swing of this motherhood thing I am sure I'll be scrapping again really soon!
