wormy wormy here!!

Since I am on Tate's computer while my laptop is in the shop, I am currently antivirus protectionless ::gasp::

I couldn't see buying the virus scan for 2 weeks for this computer. After that it will not be connected to the internet.

When my laptop is back home tho, I will be updating and installing a firewall

Oh and Suzanne, how weird. The patch only took me about 4 mins to download on my very lame dial up...

Good thing to, cuz that's about all the time I had between it shutting down!

My mother rang this morning and said she has the virus in her computer. From what I read on Symantecs site, you need to download the patch from a different computer. If you have the virus, you can't stay on the net long enough to download it. Your system will keep rebooting. I have downloaded the patch and relevant instructions so I can fix mums computer tomorrow. There are certain steps that must be followed or the patch won't work.
