Are you talking about making your own notepads? I made personalized notepads for Christmas that turned out great. I used the instructions from a link that I found in this thread: Making your own personalized pads and here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=6269.0

I made my notepads either 4.25 x 5.5 and 5.5 x 8.5. Attached is a sample of one that I made. I just had a ream of paper cut to size and then trimmed my chipboard myself.

Hope that's the kind of info you were looking for.

i was thinking more of some type of decorative letterhead that would include a small portrait. I thought surely I would find some inspiration if I googled 'personal stationery', but I got zero hits of what I have in mind.

It's basically the same as making a title for your layouts.. Just create a graphic that is 60x400 in size.. Create the file like you would a normal layout (layer text/grapics, etc). Center the image when printing to the top and center to be sure it will fit correctly on the paper and then print it out using either some heavyer inkjet paper or specialized cardstock.. Should be quite easy to do.. goodluck

Funny how people always post questions but don't follow-up with the answers... Hope you found what you were looking for somewhere else. If not, let us know and we'll continue to help..
