I *just* figured this one out in DIP. What I do is create the size square I want to use INSERT>>SHAPE>>choose square. I take away the border FORMAT>>SHAPE or LINE>>LINE THICKNESS>>NONE. Then I got to EFFECTS>>FILL WITH TEXTURE OR COLOR>>PICTURE>>OPEN A PICTURE and then go ahead and grab the photo I want. Before you click DONE you can resize the photo or move it around until it is positioned right where you want it. You can then copy (ctrl+c) & paste (ctrl+p) the squared photo you just created and do it again with another photo. Hope that helps.
