Well I hear that this version should be out in August. I have PSP 8.1 and was considering getting DIP 10. Do you DIP users think it will be worth it?
Is that like going backwards, or should I try to work my way toward Adobe?

Lisa - I don't use PSP so I can't help you but what I can say is that I moved up to PS because I found DIP too limiting. Everyone has to find their own niche though so it may work for you

Tried to click on the link for DIP 10 info, but it said it wasn't to anything regarding the product itself, could you double check that? Thanks for all the info. Yes, I wish they would use brushes!!!! They need to speak to SBB before making another version. I have DIP 9 (not suite) do you think I will be able to upgrade to this version which looks like it is "suite"? Thanks!

The link has dissappeared for some reason, it did originally have a link to the page that had the information i shared but its gone and I searched MS site but couldnt find anything on DIP10 go figure! lol
MS never has upgrades only full programs so your only way of saving money is to take advantage of the rebates for ownership of a previous version.
But I know to with DIP9 the bigger stores had very generous cashbacks and instore rebates as well.

Thanks for the link for Amazon info on the new version. $92.00 wow!!! Will wait until it comes out and see who has it for sale and like you said many stores offer rebates for previous versions. If you should come across any "great" deals and want to share the info, i'd appreciate it. Don't know if 10 will have anything much more than version 9. Thanks for your quick responses.
