How do you do a montage in DIP?

There's been a lot of talk recently about montage/collages and would like know if there is a way to do one in DIP 9?

I've done a few blended LO's and one that I specifically tried to get the collage/montage effect I posted

(view it here: http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...cat=500&page=2 )

I'm still working on getting this down in DIP7 but it is something that you CAN do!

I've done several others. I also tried to do something similar for the mothers day card I sent.

(view it here: http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...cat=500&page=1 )

To get the look for the first layout I used the effect : diffused glow. I then faded the background photo. I inserted the church and used softened the edges so that they looked blended into the background. I then did the same thing with the lower right corner of the kiss. I've found the best sucess is in the layers and the colors.

I'm sure that Shelly's tutorial will help tons! Keep an eye out for that

Dont' worry Angie! You'll be able to! I promise. Especially when Shelley has that tutorial done, she is awesome!

The cool thing about DSBing is that you can just click *undo* if you mess up! So just have a go at it and you'll be surprised how fast you get the hang of it down! Don't get discouraged and remember you can always post or just PM me if you have a question ... if I can't help ya I'm sure to try to get the answer myself!
