Hi Becky,

Go to:

File>>New>>Under the Resize tab that is where you chose Portrait or Landscape then Paper Size then Select Resolution from there you can chose 300.

If you have alreadt created the page try Format>>Resize Image and chose 300dpi under the Select Resolution tab.

This should be the same for DIP 9 as well. Hopefully that will get you a 300dpi. I have never had a problem saving JPEG's in 300 dpi in DIP7 or 9. I did have problems with saving PNG's at 300 dpi with DIP 7. DIP 7 is very quirky about that. DIP 9 is much better for creating elements.

If all else fails you may have to copy your entire LO (ctrl+a to select all>>ctrl+c to copy>> ctrl+v to paste) and paste it to a fresh 300 dpi canvas. Very easy to do.

Shelleyrae is VERY good at this. She may be able to jump in if these suggestions don't work.

Thanks Gina!! Now another question....

Thanks Gina your steps worked perfectly!! Now another question for you. When you resize the image to 300 dpi, what is the average file size? Right now my file size is 3,438 MB, is this too big? I don't want to skimp on the quality of the image, but I want to make sure she gets it too.

Glad it workied Becky!

A LO I just emailed CK was a 12X12 resized to 600X600 at 300dpi and the file size is 114KB.

LO's will vary in size though...depending on the background, elements and photos.
