flip album question

Hi Shelleyrae!

I am working on a yearbook for our homeschool group and wondered if you had ever used the flip album option under "create a project" in DIP9? I would love to set it up so that each page will just flip through to the next, but don't know if this would work for this or if this option is more for single photos rather that whole page LO's. Also, I would want to burn it to a cd and wonder if the viewer would need to have DIP( on their pc to view it as a flip album. I had thought It would be neat to have it set up like you folks have the e-zine set up, in Adobe, but afraid that would require way more time and expertise than I have to give it. Otherwise they are going to have to open each page by itself, abd while that would be acceptable, not optimal. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!
Laurie

The flipalbum function in DIP works more as a slideshow of pics... you lack control over the page flipping. There is a programs out there that I have used and many others here use called FlipAlbum
www.flipalbum.com
Which does exactly what you are wanting DIP to do.
I used this for my christmas cards last year and sent everyone a mini-CD of a book of our past year. You did not need to have that program on your PC to view the CD.
If you know powerpoint, you could do it that way as well, but it would not have a "flip" like look to it.
There are ways to package a show in powerpoint with the viewer so that your users do not have to have powerpoint to view it.

There are lots and lots of slide show programs out there.. but flipalbum and powerpoint would be two that would give you control over the page by page aspect.
