Picture It 9 Express Question

I did my first layouts in Picture It 7.0 Express (which I still have). When my MSN upgraded I also got Picture It 9 Express. I don't see any options to add shapes or anything but pictures or text.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there some other way to change a background?

I wouldn't think so- since the Picture It 9 came with my MSN upgrade free. It doesn't have the add something choice for a line or shape.

Does it have "insert" on the toolbar? If so go to Insert>Shape or Line>Shape

Nope there's no insert either. I seached high and low. I was really suprised by this.

I use PSE but have told others they may want to start with Picture It since so many get it for free.

And there's no "add something" either??? Got me stumped. I would recommend using Digital Image Pro rather then Picture It because DIP uses plugins. I started with PI2002 but soon foundI wanted to do more so bought DIP7. DIP9 has selections too.
