me again . . . DPI file size

Okay, I posted earlier about the gigantic file sizes and I may have fixed it, but wanted to see what you think.

Under image size I changed the image size to 8 X 10 and the ppi (screen resolution) to 150. Also, I went to options (under tools) and changed the default image options to 150 X 150 pixels.

Will this affect my print quality, assuming dpi will stay at 300 dpi?
I hope this makes sense. The software is running much smoother, quicker and the file size makes more sense, is more consistent with what I'm used to.

Thanks,
LaWanna
