When I create shapes & add color, there is always a black line around them. I have been selecting the image and going in under effects, edges, & softening the edges a bit to try to get rid of the lines. I don't really like the result BC the edges loose their sharpness. This is most noticable when I color the shapes in a light color. I often make a shape (rectangle or oval), fill with color & add a title inside.

Right click on the shape. Then pick Change Shape or Line>Line Thickness. Then choose the top option- none.

That's kind of a pain isn't it. I don't know why they would make the default with no line.
