Ornament Creation?

Looking to make picture into a round ornament that would look beveled at the edge - Is there a filter available (free) that would accomplish this? Or.... a technique that would best create this illusion?

Depending on your program. In PSE you select the item and then go to Filter>Distort>Spherize. Then play with Render>Lens Flare to put in a bit of reflected light. Have also seen Lighting Effects used but have never tried that. ALso to get some of the shadowing Select the ornament- create new layer- fill with black in the selection- contract slections 20-30 pixels- feather by 20 and delete. Terry Maruca has a tut for just that in the Decmeber Tidbytes. Her technique uses the lighting effects- really cool. Different from the way I learned and anxious to give her method a try.

Fast work SR- Didn't even notice where this question was posted. There is a bit of a difference and my info wouldn't have helped much!

Thanks for the tut Shelleyrae - you ALWAYS come through for us DIP users. I really need to get cracking on learning PSE - just too comfortable in DIP. I always "forget" to create the new layer when adding stuff in PSE then get frustrated. I like that when you insert a graphic in DIP, it is automatically on it's own so called layer.

Happy Holidays!!
