canvas size limits...

I use DIP and love it! I recently tried to create a canvas 24 x 36 and was not allowed this size. The message said to enter a # up to 24". I know Photoshop allows larger sizes but don't use that program. Is there a way to create a canvas this large in DIP? This is for a Christmas project so I am running out of time.

could you create it at half size, then save as PDF and enlarge to 200% in there?

(I don't have DIP, so I don't know what options you have)

HMMM

I might try that but I would rather do it up in full size in DIP if possible. Getting this printing done (4 24 x 36) will be expensive & I am not confident enough in my digital imaging to try something different from the norm. I am still hoping someone will know if DIP can do this.

Nope unforuntely DIP does have a canvas size limit
The only suggestion I have is to design it in two halves and then stitch it together in another program to print or as has been suggested design it at the largest % proportion you can, and then open in another program and increase the size to suit - the will be a tiny loss of quality but not much

best solution...

I think I will just open it in PSE and attempt to pull it together there. I have used it only a bit so am not experienced there but I think I can figure it out enough to do this project.Since DIP has been discontinued, I am thinking i need to learn how to use it anyway. Thanks for your advise on this. I appreciate being able to ask these questions here.
