Digital Image Library and External Hard Drive

Due to the fact that my scrapbook supplies were filling up my computer's hard drive, I bought an external drive and moved my scrapbook files there. Now I can't get Digital Image Library to work. It still thinks the files are on the internal hard drive and I can't add the files from the external drive. Not only that but the Library "encounters a problem" every time I start it and it wants to shut down. The weird thing is I can still run the program behind the having-a-problem-must-shut-down screen.

Any ideas?

I've tried removing the program and reinstalling it. That didn't change a thing.

It wont back up? Im not sure which typ e of backup you mean.
If you mean a way to export a backup file of your tags, labels etc the you can find the database for the Library in My Computer>C://>Application Data\Microsoft\POD\Pictures.pd3 (may also be pd2 depending on what version you are using.)
You can back this file up to disc and can use it to reinstall your library info if you have to uninstall and reinstall
HTH

PS I had over 100GB of stuff in the library - there is a post here somewhere regarding teh limitations of the library
