Wow that's disheartening. I started out with DIP and I often recommend to new digi-scrappers, especially those who are not as computer savvy or new to photo editing.

Well.. it is bad news but at least you now have a good "excuse" to perhaps move over to PS... When Jasc sold out to Corel and PSP went downhill, I moved over to PS full time and boy am I ever pleased. Sure, it is expensive, and perhaps it has more than anyone needs, but it is a really nice program. With CS3 out.. deals abound for older CS copies - might be a nice way to get into the mix.

I feel a overwhelming urge to cry for awhile !! This sucks !! There are so few of us anyway !

Judging by the amount of downloads of PNG+ DIP ONLY goodies from the DIP Divas Blog there's more of us than you realise. If only MS realised the same thing.
