Unhappy How do I make very SMALL images?

How do I make very small images (150 pixels wide) without losing all clarity. I see on many websites that even the smallest images are very clear, but when I shrink down my images, even trying all different DPIs, they look terrible. Is there a way to make clear thumbnails with DIP9? Or do I need something else?

Pat, if you are trying to just get a tiny image smallenough for electronic viewing, DIP has a shortcut to do this for you. Go to File> Scave Copy For>Email or Web. Then it will ask you to choose the location (if you do not, it will save to a file it creates by default called Email or Web). And you are done! You can now insert this into any email and website and it will look as crystal clear as yout larger original. This size has been reduced to 72 dpi and is not suitable for printing clearly. I wll look MUCH better uploaded to an email or website than it does on your canvas, believe me. If you wish to do it manually, go to >FORMAT> change image size> then change to 72 or 96 dpi. It will look a bit fuzzy on your screen, but will look just fine when viewed electronically.

If this doesn't answer your question, feel free to post again.

THANKS Coffeequeen!

That's exactly what I needed. I've been using DIP for 8 years and never knew that feature was there. Thanks so much!
