yes you can!! What you need to do is to open a new document by doing the file, new document from the menu (not the quick button) and it will let you choose what size of canvas you want!

As Lisa said
File> New and enter 12" x 24 inch as your specs (or whatever the size you scrap just double your width)
Something that may help>
Choose Insert Line, rotate the line so it is vertical and the choose Format> Resize Object to Fit>Scale to Fit and the line will divide the page in half exactly
When you have finished your layout, save and then Edit> Duplicate whole project
Edit> Flatten all Objects (except the dividing line)and then use the Marquee tool to select one half and paste on a new canvas to print and same for teh other side
HTH

Hi - I love the ability to make a two page layout by resizing the canvas but now I am trying print and the above directions are not working for me -- any suggestions?

Hi Anne
After you have saved the original, delete the line if you used one and go to Edit> Flatten all Objects so its now one big file.
Now go to the marquee tool and select the Square shape. Drag out the selection to halve your layout and go to Edit> Copy then immediately go to File> New and choose Okay to create a new canvas (it will automatically size its self to fit for the copied layout half) clcik on teh new canvas and select Edit > Paste
The layout half should now be on the new canvas and you can print it or save the half as jpg for out source printing.
Repeat for teh other side of the layout.

Let me know if that doesnt help - and tell me where specifically you are coming unstuck

Hi - I follow the directions up until it says to use the marquee tool to select half of my layout - my 'selection' appears like half the layout but then long dash lines surround the entire layout and what I copy turns out to be the whole thing. help - not sure what I am doing wrong... in trying to find a fix I was able to 'crop' the half the layout but not sure if that changes the image, quality, etc. Thank you for trying to help me.
